18th November 2007 Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SSE Wind Stength: Session time = 10.30-10.50am Surf / Sea State: HT@10.30am Air Temperature: Bl**dy cold Sea Temperature: Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: With a forecast of onshore winds and single figure air-temps I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about sailing today but 25-30mph was difficult to ignore plus I needed to pop in to Surfladle so no excuses I had to give it a go. And it was crap. Solidly powered but bolt onshore and freezing cold meant it really wasn't any fun so very quickly I decided to give up instead of trying to struggle on in the hope that either conditions and/or my levels of motivation might improve. It's hard to believe that that this time next week I'l be sailing in boardies in El Medano. :) |
